Open Meetings Act
In accordance with the Open Meetings Act (5 ILCS 120/7.3), employees whose total compensation package exceeds $75,000 will be available upon approval of the Budget & Appropriation Ordinance in March of each year. Approval of the Budget & Appropriation Ordinance includes approval of annual salaries and related expenses necessary to provide the aforementioned information.
Upon approval of the Budget & Appropriation Ordinance on March 23, 2016, the following employees of the Bedford Park District have a total compensation package that exceeds $75,000:
Kathleen Taloff, Executive Director - $98,253 including salary, health insurance (see footnote A), 20 vacation days, 10 sick days, and potential for a year end bonus based on performance.
The employees of Bedford Park District are provided the option to enroll in the District's group health insurance, with a portion of the annual premium paid by the employee. The monthly premium rates effective May 1, 2016 range from $600.00 to $1900.00 based on employee age and dependent coverage per the Affordable Care Act.
